As a Family owned Maine Company, giving back to the communities we serve is an integral part of our business. Each year we get involved with many charity events, sponsorships, and try to give back as much as possible. Each year we sponsor or get involved with over 50 different charities and local organizations that do good things for our community. In recent years we have been supporters of the Easter Seals of Maine Veterans Program, Camp Sunshine, Christmas is for Kids, Salvation Army, Big Brothers Big Sisters, March of Dimes, and the Boy Scouts of Maine to name a few. We also take pride in supporting our local schools, sports teams, Police and Firemen.

MCCP Night @ Celtics

We had an incredible time hosting our friends from the Maine Children’s Cancer Program at the Maine Celtics game on Friday night. It was a night filled with smiles as kids, parents, patients, doctors, and our team came together to enjoy the game and each other’s company. From the excitement in the stands to the T-shirt and pizza giveaways, it was truly an unforgettable evening. Moments like these remind us why giving back to our community means so much to us.

Supporting Local Law Enforcement

As a small token of our appreciation, we were proud to donate a GMC Hummer Recon eBike to each of the Police Departments that serve and protect the communities where we do business: the Westbrook Police Department, Brunswick Police Department, and Saco Police Department. We are grateful for their continued dedication and commitment to keeping our communities safe.

Presidents Day for Pets

February was all about giving back during our President’s Day for Pets Drive! Throughout the month, we collected pet food and supplies at all of our locations with one goal in mind—helping No Bowl Empty 2 Pet Food Pantry restock their shelves so they can continue supporting local pets and the families who love them. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our employees and customers, we were able to donate a full box truck load of food, supplies, and toys. No Bowl Empty 2 Pet Food Pantry serves underprivileged pet families across Southern Maine. We’re truly honored to partner with such a compassionate organization—and we always love when Raine stops by to check on things!

Falmouth Congregational Church Easter Egg Hunt

Otto had a great time joining the Falmouth Congregational Church’s annual Easter Egg Hunt, celebrating the season with local families and the community.

Old Orchard Beach Little League

Otto the Moose had an absolute blast at the Old Orchard Beach Little League Opening Ceremonies! From the excitement on the field to the warm welcome in the dugout, it was a day full of smiles and team spirit. A special thank-you to the Bill Dodge Girls’ Softball team for making Otto feel right at home — they even created a custom dugout cheer just for him! We’re proud to support our local teams and be part of such an incredible community celebration.

Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland

We’re proud to be the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland’s Pet Food Pantry Sponsor of the Month! Each month, dozens of local families rely on the ARLGP Pet Food Pantry for temporary support. This vital program helps keep pets with the families who love them by providing assistance during times of need—playing an important role in reducing the number of animals entering the shelter and strengthening our community.

Apprentice Technician Graduation

The Bill Dodge Auto Group is proud to celebrate five outstanding Apprentice Technicians who recently graduated from high school. This is a major milestone, and we couldn’t be more excited to recognize their hard work and dedication. Each of these apprentices has already shown a strong commitment to learning, growth, and craftsmanship, and we’re thrilled to have them continuing their careers with our team

Summer Sales Event for Charity

The Summer Sales Event for Charity was another great success thanks to our customers and community. Throughout July, customers who purchased a vehicle chose the charity closest to their hearts to receive a contribution on their behalf. Together, we raised $52,500, with $28,000 benefiting the Maine Children’s Cancer Program, $10,500 supporting Make-A-Wish Maine, and $14,000 going to Maine Veterans Forward (Fedcap Veterans). We’re proud to support these incredible organizations and grateful to everyone who helped make a meaningful impact by shopping with purpose this summer.

Blood Drive

Each year, the Bill Dodge Auto Group proudly hosts a community blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross. Bringing together our employees and customers, we roll up our sleeves for a cause that truly matters—because a single blood donation can help save up to three lives. It’s one more way we come together to support our community and make a meaningful difference beyond the showroom.

Good Shepherd Food Back

The Bill Dodge Hyundai team was proud to partner with Good Shepherd Food Bank in support of their mission to fight food insecurity across Maine. Every effort counts. Every meal matters. And every partnership brings us one step closer to ending hunger in our communities.

Hot Rods & Heroes Car Show

Drawing over 575 registered vehicles and thousands of spectators, the 2025 Hot Rods & Heroes Car Show benefiting Veterans Forward was a tremendous success. In partnership with WPOR 101.9 and Newsradio WGAN, the event showcased an impressive lineup of vehicles while bringing the community together in support of a shared mission to give back to our local veterans.

Halloween Candy Donation

When the Westbrook/Gorham Community Chamber of Commerce asked if the Bill Dodge Auto Group could help sweeten their Main Street community trick-or-treat event, we were more than happy to help support this community favorite!

Toys for Tots

We were proud to place donation boxes in all Bill Dodge Auto Group showrooms, inviting our team members, customers, and community to help collect gifts for children who might otherwise go without during the holiday season. Thanks to the generosity of so many, these donations helped bring joy, comfort, and smiles to local families in need.

Shopping with Celtic

We were proud to team up with the Maine Celtics and the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Maine for our annual Holiday Shopping with a Celtic event. The night kicked off with a special shopping trip to Target, where each child shopped alongside Celtics players and mascots to pick out meaningful gifts for their families. To wrap up the evening, we surprised every child with a tote filled with gifts just for them — making it a night full of smiles, generosity, and holiday magic.

Kids Charity Oil Change Event

This year’s Christmas Is for Kids Charity Oil Change Event was another incredible success. Thanks to our longtime partners at WPOR 101.9 and the overwhelming generosity of our community, we proudly raised $35,000 to support children across Maine. Events like this remind us what’s possible when a community comes together — and we’re honored to help make the holiday season a little brighter for so many Maine families.
