CTS Named in Car & Driver’s 10 Best List

Cadillac never ceases to impress with every new year. It’s consistently one of the best entry-level luxury vehicles on the market and has a variety of models to appeal to a wide demographic. Car & Driver magazine has just recognized the Cadillac CTS for the fourth consecutive year in a row as one of the 10 Best Cars.

Every year the prestigious auto magazine, Car and Driver comes out with a list of vehicles it deems to be the best of the year. For 2010 the Cadillac CTS-V earned the reward. The V-series comes in three CTS models: the sedan, coupe and wagon. They are powered by a supercharged 3.2L V8 engine that puts out a whopping 556 horsepower. This engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, giving it outstanding performance and ride quality. Magnetic Ride Control, Bremo brakes and 19” aluminum wheels are some of the standard options that come with the CTS-V.

The coupe seems like it would be a flashy concept car with unique details like the rear spoiler integrated into the rear light and center exhaust tips that pass through the rear fascia. It also doesn’t have the traditional B-pillar body style; instead the rear window is almost horizontal, giving it a sleek sporty shape. The V wagon is equally impressive as it combines performance with a ton of cargo space, up to 58 cubic feet to be exact.
